AD Linked Standard

AD Linked is a Windows application that operates on a domain server or a computer connected to your domain. Through the AD Linked control panel, you can create connection records that facilitate linking your on-premises Active Directory to various data sources. These sources include your cloud-based Human Resources Management System (HRMS), a CSV (comma-separated values) text file, or a Microsoft SQL server table. The synchronization process ensures that employee data remains consistent and up-to-date across your Active Directory user objects.

Connecting HRMS and Active Directory with AD Linked
By establishing a straightforward connection record between your cloud-based Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and your Active Directory (AD), AD Linked ensures seamless synchronization of data. Specifically, it synchronizes information stored in the HRMS employee fields with corresponding attributes in AD. This process offers several benefits:

  1. Data Integrity: By eliminating manual data entry, AD Linked safeguards data accuracy and consistency.
  2. Enhanced Security: The automated synchronization process tightens security measures.
  3. Time Savings: IT staff can focus on other critical tasks, as AD users are automatically created, updated, or disabled based on changes in employee data.
  4. Single Source of Truth (SSOT): The HRMS becomes the authoritative source for employee information.

Currently, AD Linked supports the following source systems:

  • CSV (comma-separated values) text file
  • SQL Database Table
